Working in a pet shop myself (in Kansas), I understand the hard work that goes into keeping the store smelling and lookiing good. ( It's almost as tough as working in a Nursing home.)

I visited All Star Pets this summer while taking a weekend vacation and was impressed. It smelled just like a pet shop to me.

To those who have sensitive noses...I say...come back another day...you probably just hit the store on a bad day.

Another hint...You may choose to go to some of the big name retail Pet Stores like "PetCo" but you will not receive the same personal attention you need in the way your local pet shops will give.

Plus, generally speaking prices are not only lower, but the quality is also better.

My family buys everything here. About 4 years ago my son had a turtle that he had for 1 year, and it died, we took to the store and the owner said go pick out another one around the same size. The owners are great
