We called to make a reservation for the weekend of 4/11/08. We enjoy rock climbing and hiking, so inquired about the weather and snow levels. The front desk clerk rudely stated "I'm helping a paying customer...call back" and hung up on my husband. Several minutes later she called back using caller i.d. I guess. My husband answered and she said "Yeah, you're the one I was talking to" He responded "no, you're the one who was rude to me" and hung up. She had the nerve to call back and when I answered she said "you're the ones being rude" and went on from there! I simply informed her that she's in a service industry and we had already booked our stay at another hotel. Needless to say she shouldn't be in the service industry and definately not handling reservations. We stay in Canon City several times a year and will never consider booking at the Colorado Inn.
