Do not stand behind product

I recently purchased a refrdigerator from this company and was thrilled that they allowed me payments on the unit as my credit would not rate me a credit card. Unfortunately immediately after the last payment was made the unit started to have problems. Now here I sit with a three year old fridge that no longer works. I called Drydens and explained to them the problem and was told " musta gotta lemon, happens with cars too . . ." in my opinion that's hardly an excuse. The unit was Frigidare and not a cheap one either, wanted a really good one because firse one I ever bought new! I was told by Dryden's to go to Frank's or Walt's for a service call, which of course is my expense. Perhaps built-in obsolesence is the norm now but I expected more from this company and if Earl were still alive I would have gotten it. Perhaps a new unit at a markdaown or split the cost of the repair bill? I would NOT recommend purchasing from this company, there are extra charges built into invoices and contracts. They don't seem to stand behind their product and shrug off any responsibility to another company at the consumer's cost. They are friendly and helpful in the purchase phase but that flies out the window once the cash is on the counter.
