Josh is a genuine craftsman. He takes the time to meet with you about the work he will be doing, his prices are fair, and his work is outstanding! He listened to us about the color, the finish and the repairs to be made to an old (!) Jury chair that had been painted a long time ago. He first stripped it and brought it to our house to talk about the finish we wanted. He once again listened to us and looked at our other furniture before making recommendations. We went with his ideas and he made the chair look absolutely beautiful!

Amenities
Although sometimes more vigorous measures are required for certain pieces, our primary goal is not to solely exist as another "stripping and finishing" business but rather to maintain as much of the article's originality as possible while making any necessary repairs. We try always to employ the least invasive techniques first before we move onto anything more permanent. Many of the techniques and processes we use to restore items are quite similar to the ones used to create or restore items several hundred years ago. Taking a 100+ year old item and making it look 1 day old is not our mission. Preserving the heritage and the patina of time is our focus.
