Horrible Experience!!!! Management could care less about the residents. Drug deals take place in the middle of day here in main entrance of the building.

Riverview "Luxury" Apartments is the most unprofessional apartment community in the state of Georgia. If you happen to be considering this complex as your future home, please take this time to redirect yourself elsewhere. This community as well as the company that owns them (Wilkinson Asset Management) is not accommodating whatsoever. They have changed property managers in the last two years like under garments. Within the first lease of being at the community, the second elected property manager there during my lease caused major flooding damage which affected my unit as well as several others. Although they move me into a "downgraded" apartment, they expected me not only to pay my normal rental rate, but also pay the deductible of the rental insurance in efforts to get my items cleaned and stored away due to the property managers negligence. After going through hell and high water, I was finally able to get the property's company to pay for the deductible even though they told that they normal don't do that as if to make me feel like they were doing me a favor. I just figured that it was a common courtesy to take care of your tenants especially when the community's property manager is the reason for the inconvenience. Since then, there has been another elected property manager and boy have things declined since this one's arrival. If you so happen to have a noise complaint, don't expect the current manager to do anything about it as she told me and I quote "There's nothing I can do about it". To add insult to injury, the noise complaint I had was about a dog being left outside for hours at a time barking relentlessly which is located right under the managers apartment. There has been a pool promised to this community every since I moved there two years ago. There's has yet to be any form of construction dedicated to that process. There are absolutely no amenities unless you consider a computer lab with one dated PC the currently runs off of Windows XP that doesn't print. No fitness center, on-site laundry, or sporting courts. There is one convenient device they do possess. They have two elevators in the community that work from time to time. However, if you are running late for work or being chased by an ax-wielding murderer, I advise you to take the stairs due to the elevator's slower than molasses operation. Back to the current manager, no offense to the Hispanic community, but unless you can comprehend there native tongue, you may need to bring a translator with you to decipher what she's trying to convey. If you long for nostalgic sitcoms like "Where In The World Is Carmen San Diego", then you come to right community. Given that the current manager's name is Carmen, she really embodies the roll of Carmen San Diego since locating her "during normal business hours" is like finding a needle in a hay stack. If you so happen to take that plunge and lease there, upon doing your move out walk-through, make sure Cinderella that apartment otherwise they WILL nickel and dime for everything not thoroughly cleaned. They expect you to clean the stove's drip pan tray, under the built-in microwave, and subtle scuffs on the walls which were to be painted over. The dumpster area is always overflowing with trash which attracts snakes from the river located behind the complex. There are so many nuisances that can be address in this form, but I think I've gotten my point across. You have been thoroughly warned about the antics of this complex as well as the company that own them. I did enjoy one thing about stay there and that was the use of real granite counter tops. Please be advised however, those luxurious counter tops are going to eat away at your paycheck since they have increase their rental rates by $100 in the last year. Proceed with caution. You've been warned.
