Burger King - Temporarily Closed

We stopped at the Burger King in Canton, NC on Saturday, July 26, 2008 on our way from Nebraska to Charlotte, North Carolina. We should have known as soon as we got in line that we should have left - the floor was so sticky you could hardly walk. We ordered our food and looked for a table for four. There was not one clean table in the place. My husband asked if someone could come and clean off a table since there were none clean. The young man at the register just looked at us as if we were nuts. A manager was standing right there, heard the request, and just went on about her business. We took the least dirty table and placed napkins down so we could eat. After we finished, we did leave all of our trash on the table - something we would never do - but figured maybe then someone would come and clean up the place.



If they were short-handed, it would have been nice to have an explanation of such. All we got was no response at all. The restroom in the place was also disgusting - paper all over the floor, bugs, just plain dirty.



We have used the drive-through at this location before on our trips, but will never eat there again.
