Called several places to move my safe from garage to garage, about a 70 mile move. Spoke to Dave here, the owner, he quoted price about $50 less than most that I had called and appeared to have more experience based on his website. If fact, website claims that they "We OPEN and MOVE more safes in a year than most do in an entire career!", so you would think that they know what they are doing. I asked specifically if the safe would be wrapped in blankets for the transport as I did not want it scratched. He replied "Of course!". So I scheduled the appointment.



I was not able to be at the pick up location, I was at the drop off location. I had a relative work with them on the pick up. When they arrived at my home, they arrived with my safe in the back of a trailer with a TARP around it! That's right! A TARP! And it wasn't even taped around the safe, so it was loose and able to move around. Now, I don't know if you have ever loosely put a tarp on something and then driven down the road, but a tarp flaps in the wind and is made out a extremely abrasive material. Needless to say, after taking the tarp off my safe, the paint (special order metallic burgundy) was dull and scratched all over and around the safe where the tarp had been flapping in the wind against it during the transport. I have waxed the safe and buffed it 3 times and cannot get the scuffing off of the paint.



Please, if you have a nice safe, DO NOT trust a transport to these guys. If you have something industrial that you don't really care about the exterior, the move otherwise was ok.
