The Montessori Method of teaching is aimed at young children ranging from 2 to 6 years of age. We have a set of materials, everything is really hands-on and customized. Your child has the freedom to pick the jobs and work they prefer. We give them this freedom because every child is different, and we customize their learning experience in the way of math, language, and other subjects they are interested in.

Worst School in California... Really!!!

UPDATE: For those of you writting steller reviews about this school, please take a moment and check out the State Of California Departement of Social Services website and see for your self. This school has rated second worst in the whole entire state of California. 10,000 infant and child care schools and they managed to be the second highest offender with 35 TYPE A CITATIONS. Don't believe me? go to ccld.ca.gov go all the down and click on start facility search then click child care then choose facility type (Preschool), Type Sierra School under facility name, County (Los Angeles) then hit search. Click view next school name and scroll down to yellow boxes and click on citations and you will see for yourself how bad this school is. Type A citations mean (Immediate health, safety or personal rights impact). Type B means (potential health, safety or personal rights impact).AVOID THIS PLACE. If you do not care about how your child gets treated then by all means do sign up with this school. We recently moved to the area. Having to have left a very nice school in the San Fernando Valley, we thought a Montessori school would be great for our Tot. We signed up with them and did the tour. My wife and I thought this is amazing. We were looking forward to starting there. Our child was ok the first two day. Then depression like symptoms started setting in. Unhappy, unsmiling, always crying while there. We thought this is a new school and she just needs time to adjust. we hung in there for couple of months. What made things extremely worse is that one day we go to pick up our child to find out that she has obtained a huge black eye. Almost like she got punched in the face. The director tells me oh your daughter tripped in the play area and hit her face against the play house. According to the school the incident happened at 11:39 AM and we usually pick up our kid at 12:30 PM. School never called and told us about the incident. When we asked them why they did not call since this is a major injury (anything above the neck on a human is considered a head concussion) they said oh we got busy with serving lunch to the other kids and figured waiting for you to come and get her was ok.My wife lost her #$%^$ mind when she heard that. Total BS.Gets better!!!. Our child claimed that the teacher hit her and that is how she got the black eye. After all of this... we believe our child over this school. We called the cops and filled a police report. The school in return calls the State Licensing board and files a claim shortly after our police report. Claiming that our child got a minor bruise. Licensing board calls us and we submit the pictures taken minutes after we picked up our child the day of the incident. Now the state licensing board is investigating.
