Found this place while staying at the lake. Great prices! Great selection! We spend two weeks each spring and fall at the lake and make several trips each time we are here.

Advice to anyone who contemplates consigning items to Kathi’s Resale: DON’T! My unsold items "disappeared" even though I had requested they be returned to me if they didn't sell ... and I am talking about designer items (Saks Fifth Avenue, Evan Picone, Emanuel by Ungaro to name a few). A month before end of consignment, I stopped by to look for my nine items and only found a pair of shoes. Kathi's credited my account with a total of $10.75 for four sold items (one brand-new with the original Saks price tag of $156.00). It is my conclusion that Kathi’s is an extremely dishonest enterprise and have learned in the meantime that others in this area believe they have been cheated also. Kathi's does not provide a receipt for consigned items, they do not keep their promises and, worst of all, claim that items that were actually sold were donated. SO, THINK TWICE IF YOU DON’T WANT TO HAVE A SIMILAR EXPERIENCE!!! THERE MUST BE BETTER RESALE SHOPS THAN THIS ONE!!

If you go, stick to buying.

LOVED THE STORE, super organized, great selection, great staff (except 1 young, dark hair with glasses: no help whatsover!) Thank goodness found chrissy (sp?), Super helpful, making our trip overall a 5, don't want to let 1 lacking any customer skills ruin for this top notch thrift store!

This is a very busy shop. Come early and shop often. The pricing is fair and every attempt is made to make sure the shop is organized and clean. The women who work here are part of the community and seem happy and content; the customer service is excellent.

Kathi's a local staple! My family lives in Canyon Lake and we regularly drop off our clothes and find new ones at great prices! I have a young son who is growing so fast - we drop his clothes off there, all of which are still in really good condition, and we find nice clothes in larger sizes to buy in exchange at unbeatable values. Not only do you get high quality clothes for excellent prices, but it is also very environmentally friendly and practical. A brilliant idea and worth supporting.
