The lady owner was very friendly, and I am thankful that she took my puppy girl at such short notice, AND while she was in heat. HOWEVER, I found the place to be slightly dirty upon first impression. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt considering it was a new business, and in this economy, it is hard to have a good new business. My baby stayed for a long full week (:() and I picked her up and she seemed so happy. Later that evening I was petting her, and noticed her uncontrollable itching, AND a tiny brown spot running down her back! FLEAS!!!!!!!!! I took her to the bathroom and began the hunt, intitially thinking she caught maybe one or two....ohhhh noooooo.....she caught 9! I counted, and threw them in the toilet and even have a picture for proof. I was so livid. All the times I've boarded my dogs, I have NEVER brought one home with fleas. I've had a few dogs. She is like my baby, and I couldn't understand how she could get fleas when during the weekend, there was not any other dog in the facility, and then when I picked her up, there was only one dog there. I most likely will NOT be bringing her back just on the fact that my perfectly healthy dog came home with the most troublesome parasite! It is a health issue for any other future pets. Until the facility is perfectly clean I will NOT bring her back there, and I would NOT RECOMMEND this facility to anyone who cares at all about their pet's health, and their home. I just hope the fleas didn't jump to the furniture and onto my hair or my childrens' hair. I'm still pissed even after sleeping on it.

Whiskerz is a awsome place!! My dog loves going there and she always leaves looking ready to hit the town!! The staff is nice and gentle with my baby and treat her like she was there own. I would highly recommend Whiskerz for both boarding and grooming.
