New business in Cape Charles. Everybody is excited because good pizza has not been available since Veneto's Pizzeria closed. I purchased a 14" pie with half pepperoni and half sausage. I was charged for two full toppings even though I ordered half. The sausage is tasteless (if any flavor at all, a vague taste of breakfast sausage. The pepperoni half had ONE PIECE OF PEPPERONI on each piece. The dough is reminiscent of Pizza Hut or Pappa John's or Dominoe's. In other words...TASTELESS doughy crust with no yeast flavor at all. The service is non-existent as I tried to call for several hours to place a carryout order. For the first couple of hours I got a robotic voice mail telling me to leave a message, which I did. I never got a call back. The next couple of hours got me nothing but rings. After driving to the business to get a pizza, I was told that they had turned their phone off because they were "too busy to answer the phone." Imagine all the business they lost because of that bonehead move. This is a carryout business as well, only room for maybe ten people to be seated. I will never attempt to purchase anything from this misguided business again. Thank goodness Cape Charles has another option with Deadrise Pizza in the town of Cape Charles. Service is fast and the product isn't great but it is better than Gerry's! Don't wast your money on Gerry's. It is AWFUL!!
