The Utilities Collections/Distribution Section operates under the Department of Public Works and provides sewer, water and reuse water services to its customers. It operates more than 650 miles of potable water lines and over 600 miles of reuse water lines. The section offers several services that include lateral inspections and repairs, galvanized pipe replacements, sewer blockage correction, sewer line video inspection and sealing, and manhole and sewer line rehabilitation services. The section is additionally responsible for sewer and potable water connections and locations and backflow prevention and grease trap inspections. The Utilities Collections/Distribution Section is located in Cape Coral, Fla.
