i am a first time home buyer and as anyone knows you NEED an inspection done in order to get homeowner insurance. when i called the gentleman on the phone went through all their inspection types and what would best suite me. as the house i am buying is a mobile home and over 20 years old a 4 point was a must have. when inspection day came the inspector had called me in advance to let me know he was running a little late, as i was myself, and he showed up at the time he informed me (20 minutes later). As soon as he got there he introduced himself and told me the steps he was going to do. as he was going through his inspection he told us what he was doing and why. the second he found an issue (big or small) he pulled me aside and let me know what the next steps were to get that to pass. he was very friendly, professional, thorough, he answered any and all my questions that he could. i am satisfied with his service and when i need another (any type) of inspection again i will be calling sherlock homes again.

Very good inspection. Jay came out on a Sunday to do an inspection of the property in Kissimmee. I was impressed by the whole process and amazed when he went up into the 105 degree attic cavity to check for possible water damage and to make sure the roof was looking good. He spent a lot of time explaining the GFS and electric wiring and various house utility functions. He was very patient with all of my questions and curiosities. The report was covered with pictures and ready the next day. very good!

I have been investing in real estate for years and have seen good and bad inspectors. Ive used Sherlock before, recently used them again, and will continue to use them in the future. These guys are the best at what they do! If you want to know everything about a house, I recommend them highly

I checked the BBB and The owner will not make good on his mistakes. The mistakes cost me two thousand dollars and then some.

As an out of state purchaser I appreciated their use of technology to make the scheduling, follow up, verification of inspections (WDO pest control, sea wall, dock, irrigation system, etc), and delivery of the report seamless. Their pricing is reasonable and lower than many competitors for the comprehensive detail covered in the report accompanied with a lot of supporting photos. I would recommend this company to ANYONE! Our inspection was performed May 30, 2013 and aided us in negotiating some credits/remedies for repairs/updates to us from the seller.
