I took my boat in for service and I was treated very professionally when it came to how long it would take to complete the job and was texted with the estimate prior to work being done on my motor. Thank you for a great job.

I have a 21'6" Seafox Bayboat w 150 Johnson and like most boat owners I like my equipment in top working order, especially when out with my family and want to return to the dock without issue. I have been going to Steve from Specialty Marine since 2009 and have had some issues with the 150 Johnson 2 stroke, mostly maintenance though once I overheated the motor while flushing it. Steve has always performed top notch repairs on my boat and while he is not the cheapest guy in town, he has always told me up front what the costs would be, no surprises. Then it was up to me to choose whether I wanted the repairs to be performed. I am very pleased with the quality of the repairs and the fact I have never been stuck or had any problems whatsoever after the repairs were completed. I would highly recommend anyone who wants quality repairs performed at reasonable prices with high expectations and no surprises.

DO NOT BRING YOUR BOAT TO THIS MECHANIC!!!! Unless you want to be charged thousands of dollars for unauthorized repairs, do yourself a favor and go ANYWHERE else in Southwest Florida. Read the Google reviews to find out the truth about this mechanic. This con artist mechanic will say he "fixed" everything in your boat to increase the labor fees, and then if you don't pay, he will hold your boat hostage knowing it's a civil matter.
