First.. I don't usually write a review immediately about a product or service unless it fails miserably. So I am happy to say that I had purchased a wall of cabinets from Steve Unser and was impressed with the build quality. I installed them myself in our master bedroom. I was also impressed with the help and recommendations from Steve and his staff weather by phone or in person. The cabinets were made in the USA and after several years still look great and close effortlessly. You thinking about buying cabinets, think Steve Unser Cabinets

Dear Steve, as I am write this, I'm admiring our beautiful Wow Kitchen around me. We couldn't be happier with the work you did here. We appreciate the time you took to listen to what we wanted, add your awesome expertise and pull together the finished product. The end result is beyond my wildest dreams!Thanks for all you've done. I had wanted a new remodeled kitchen for years, but every year when I was ready to start, something always came up to postpone it. Finally, this year we began working on the kitchen. I got a few designs and quotes, but nothing that got me really excited. Then I found a piece of paper that a friend had given my husband with Steve's name and phone number along with the recommendation to use him if/when we decided to remodel our kitchen. So, I called him and set up an appointment. We decided that instead of us telling him what we wanted, that we would meet with him for a little bit, then ask him what HE envisioned. What he envisioned, was nothing like what I had in mind, but it sounded beautiful (and very expensive). I was actually ready for another disappointment because I thought it would be way over our budget.A few days later he called us to arrange a meeting to go over his design ideas. When we saw him, and were blown away by the design AND the affordable price. He was very thorough and patient when going over the plans, explaining all the details, as well as the associated costs. We had felt very comfortable with him from the first moment he walked into our home and that feeling continued with this meeting. We decided to go for it and signed on with him to do the work. That afternoon, we met with him again to walk through a couple of his granite supplier warehouses, and found a beautiful piece of granite. Steve's bid included a Level 1 granite, and the pieces we found were a level two, so the upgrade added to the price, but it was definitely worth it.Three weeks later, at the end of July, Steve and his crew arrived in the morning and removed all the existing cabinetry, cut out the tile backsplash, put in new drywall in its place, and brought in all the cabinets. Only one person doing the install and he was very meticulous in making sure everything was measured and placed correctly. He returned on Monday to finish the cabinet installation and trimwork, and the granite guys arrived and made a template for the island and countertops. Steve and his crew and subcontractors were very professional and NEAT!!!!!! Yes, there was dust, but only a minimal amount (they didn't come in throwing hammers and demolishing everything in their paths like they do on television). At the end of each day, floors were swept, and vacuumed before they left.When the replacement cabinet arrived, Steve came over and removed the one we did not want (but it is ours and we will find a home for it somewhere else in the house) and replaced it with the new one, and finished out the trimming of the cabinets. Obviously, because of our change, this was an additional cost, but again, it was worth it.Our initial budget was to be $20,000 for a new kitchen. Steve's proposal and agreement was $16,885. With us upgrading to a Level 2 granite, replacing a cabinet, and adding a few more inches to the granite island overhang, we still came in under our budget for the remodel.Our kitchen looks awesome! More beautiful than I ever thought I would have or be able to afford. I was not looking forward to a remodel, I had heard all sorts of horror stories about contractors in general, "not reliable", "take forever", "don't show up when scheduled" etc. etc. etc. But I can honestly say that NONE of those applied to Steve, his contractors or our remodel. Steve has been over to finish up a few odds and ends, and to make sure everything is exactly the way we wanted.Remodeling is not painless nor convenient. However, that being said, Steve worked with us to make our remodel as painless as possible and worked around OUR work schedules instead of his. I will definitely contact him again if we decide to move on to the bathroom areas.THANKS STEVE FOR EVERYTHING!!!

Mr. Steve's performance was professional. He is a true craftsman when it comes to the installation of the cabinets and crown moldings. The cost was way below his competitors.

We replaced and remolded our kitchen Steve Unser supplied the cabinets and new counter tops.Steve Unser was on time and kept in touch through the whole process of our kitchen remodel. He was very professional and did an excellent job. He is a true craftsman we love our new kitchen. Thank you Steve.

Total remodel of kitchen; pantry, double oven, pull-out drawers, etc. Bath vanity - double sinks, drawer bank, & closet organization system. We met Steve at a Home & Garden Show. He came by on time for estimates and offered suggestions that we never thought of and loved. After his staff left he came over to ensure everything was done right.

Installation of cabinets and hardware in our kitchen remodel project. Assistance with design elements of the project. Oversaw the cutting of the granite countertops to obtain the effect desired. Communicated with our contractor to keep the project on track.Steve was very helpful in helping us select our cabinets and granite countertops. He performed the majority of cabinet instillation himself with minimal help from an equally talented craftsman. He was always on time and the work area was totally cleaned upon his departure each day. His attention to detail was excellent and did not hesitate to respond to suggestions in a positive manner. Steve Unser Cabinetry provided custom cabinetry and granite for our very unique master bath. Steve worked closely with us on the design for the cabinetry as the master bath configuration is kind of out of the ordinary. Steve provided suggestions to provide more storage. Steve personally provided the flawless installation. We will definitely use Steve Unser Cabinetry again in the future and further will recommend him to both our friends and our construction clients. Designed and installed cabinets and granite for 2 bathrooms, laundry room, and kitchen. Steve was great to work with, Very prompt with the deliveries, Always cleaned up and is very quick to resolve any problems that might come up.
