The Cape May County Special Services School District operates a range of academic and enrichment programs. The district focuses on the social, emotional, physical and intellectual development of students. It conducts activities for the enhancement of daily living skills. The district administers a variety of therapeutic intervention and vocational training programs. The Cape May County Special Services School District governs the Ocean Academy, which serves children suffering from physical and learning disabilities and visual or hearing impairments in kindergarten through grade 8. The Ocean Academy administers early childhood and special education programs. The Cape May County Special Services School District also governs Cape May County High School, which enrolls students in grades 9 through 12. The district operates the Community Aquatic Program.
