This was also the best dental experience I've ever had. Marge was very helpful and polite on the phone. Dr. Wang was great. It was the fastest and most painless root canal I've had. No problems with insurance.

Fantastic experience from beginning to end. The root canal procedure was easy, painless and fast. Dr. Sterling is absolutely wonderful, as are both members of his staff, Mary and Marge. Friendly, efficient, caring - it doesn't get better than that. If I could give them all 6 stars I would!

I am amazed at this review. This is VERY similar to my story even as far as the referral from the dentist in Wildwood. I asked at least 5 times prior to the procedure how much it was going to cost and I was given some story about how they couldn't tell me. This did alert my intuition but I trusted these professionals. I was quoted between $300 and $500 (and that was with insurance!) I was even willing to pay that much. Then when I was finished with the root canal, I was told it was $781!!!!!

I was shocked!!!!!!

I am now going to report this man to the NJ Board of Dentistry.

There is definitely something fishy going on and someone with authority needs to put a stop to this.

The only reason this Dr. got a star is because I couldn't finish review without it.

Everyone should steer clear of Endodontic Associates of South Jersey, Dr. Raymond Sterling, Dr. Chang, and Dr. Wang. I just received a notice from a collection agency for $667, after my son's recent procedure. Dr. Sterlings office staff told me the day of the procedure, half way threw the procedure (literally) as a matter of fact that they accept my insurance but the do not "participate" with my insurance. Due to that fact my co pay would be $667. That was not relayed to me ever, by my dentist at Holly Beach Dental in Wildwood NJ, when I made the appointment with Dr. Sterling, or before the procedure. If it was I assure you I would have found a healthcare provider that "participated" with my insurance.



Even though I feel that this was completely wrong I attempted to make contact with the Dr and settle this outstanding balance at 50% but that was not even acknowledged. Dr. Sterling and his staff should be brought up on charges due to there shady business practices.



Rest assured, I will be writing reviews everywhere I can find the opportunity.
