Provided by YP.comAll they want is your money. My child has had no special events or activities the 4 months she has been there. No Thanksgiving, nothing for Christmas. The center isn't even decorated for Christmas. No gift exchange. All the Mumfords want is your $$ coins, dollars, dinero, guap, chedder, vouchers...whatever you wanna call it. Kevin Mumford does not listen to any suggestions nor is there even a suggestion box. Never a courtesy thank you to the parents for their patronage of their business. The building is not decorated nicely. The carpet is old and nasty. Some of the staff is very ghetto and unprofessional in their demeanor and body language and look. The building frequently has no water due to capitol heights water main problems, so you have to go and get your child from work--but you do not get that day free of charge.
Also the diet of the meals is not even balanced. No 100% fruit juice. Hardly ever any green vegetables. The kids are given foods with high carbs all the time. Processed foods. Don't send your child here. Hardly any extracarriuclar activities for the kids, no field trips, no parties, nothing for the parents to come in and interact with your child. They keep the prices cheaper than most other daycare facilities b/c they want you business but you do not get more than just a babysitting business.

Provided by YP.comI agree with the first mom, I want out! Not clean at all, but I do say my child has learned a lot, most of the teacher are great, but the business and Finical part of the school is out of control. They don't respect your time, or that your paying good money. I get calls constantly to pick up my child for diarrhea, when we get home he has no diarrhea and I have to wait 24 hours to bring him back, o but I still have to pay on time every Monday. My payments are constantly getting lost, then I keep a paper the day of saying I can't bring my child in. Twice this has happened, and twice its been their mistake, which wasting my time, and made me late for work. Not very happy at all! But other then the bad business practices the circulum is great,

Provided by YP.comThis place is beautiful physically so it attracted me. (1.)The curriculum isn't individualized. Meaning my kid knew her abcs, sounds of each letter in alphabeth, shapes and colors and 1-10numbers. So every week she goes home with coloring or count to 3 or color a shape kinds of homework. She wasn't learning anything new. (2.)Also they are not sanitary. They don't wipe the seats EVERYTIME between each kid usage. I know cuz I had several occasions were it wasn't there (confirmed by one of the teachers). (4.)Also they don't do a good job communicating. For example, staff said my kid was coughing yesterday so i should turn back cuz they noticed YESTERDAY that she was coughing. I was pissed cuz noone called me yesterday when they noticed it. So they waited until I got there in the morning and mess up my plans. (4.)When I picked up My kid one day, she had scratches all over her face and the staff had no clue how it got there. No one was watching my kid. No first aid care, no calls when it happened. (5.)They gave my kid junks like high sodium an high sugar foods like vanilla wafers and koolaid, hotdogs, candies [harvest time] (no juice or low sugar snack). I complained all these but the director just defended the staff at all time. Nothing was changed or apologies given. This is an unsafe place and I want my kid out! This's plain ghetto.
