It opened so we went to check it out. 4 adults.
Nice, colorful decor. Relaxing atmosphere.
Service was good.
However, food was disappointing. Each of us ordered different item on the menu.
Food presentation was OK.
Food itself was simply bland. No flavor, no taste. Even salsa tasted like ketchup (I think it WAS ketchup).
We are unlikely to return

Sergio's had been open in this location for 3 hours when we arrived. Super friendly and great wait staff and the food excellent with large portions. I had the seafood salad which had luscious scallops. Sweet and no grit which I have had in other places in town. We were seated as soon as we walked in and had chips with salsa asap. Shrimp were braised just right. Whatever the white fish (talapia) were the same. The first Sergio's in Murphysboro always feels like we are left with little room and the food is so so. This location is much nicer. My wife had a taco salad with chicken and she commented on how nicely the meat was cooked and how generous the amount of chicken was. Cannot walk away hungry from this restaurant. Amazing staff that was well trained. This is the best I have had in quite sometime. Will return. Parking is good. It is hard to believe this restaurant had only been open three hours.
