I brought my Family to eat here while driving soulth on 81. It was worth the drive off the highway. I was brought up in a Italian family home cooked meals on Sundays were always special.Its been years since I have tasted food prepared that well. I will be back loved the MEATBALLS

If you have never been here you have not eaten the best Italian food that money can buy. For example, meatballs that literally melt in your mouth, sauces that leave your palate begging for more and a menu so unique that you can't make only one visit. The Pettinato's are a family of restauranteurs that date back 89 years. This is the oldest and the best restaurant in Carbondale with top of the line service, food that is absolutely not found prepared this way anywhere else on the planet. The atmosphere is for the person who has the evening to sit back, relax and enjoy. The personal service is excellent, professionalism is second to none. The meals are made to order, specifically laden by an expert chef that seasons to perfection and puts love in every bite. It is worth the trip to Carbondale to dine with the Pettinato's. The prices are extremely reasonable and all portions are very generous.
