I have been sketching and painting in pastels for over 15 years.  Most of artistic education and early creative experiments took place in France where my family has been running a handmade, handpainted earthenware factory since the late 1800s.  I grew up surrounded with the sketches, sculptures and paintings of my ancestors in our family home and as far as I remember I wanted art to be a major part of my life.

I see a heirloom value in all the pieces I create for my clients, which is why I make absolutely sure to understand their precise wishes and will touch up my work until it is everything they hoped for.     The portrait of a loved one, be it a child, an ancestor or a pet is a priceless keepsake loaded with emotions and memories which deserve to be showcased in the most vivid, nuanced, and faithful way.

I am dedicated to making the commission experience a special one. That is why I always go the extra mile to make sure I am working from the best picture, with the best understanding of who my subject is, and in close and continuous collaboration with each client.
