My car was car stolen on 11/19/12, and unfortunately, assigned Progressive Adjuster, Kristin Shipps. Not only is MS Shipps unsympathetic, self-aggrandizing, condescending, patronizing, and uptight, she is unhelpful, nasty, disrespectful, ill-mannered., and verbally abusive.



Kristin Shipps, Claims adjuster is the rudest, most self- righteous, underhanded, rude, and obnoxious insurance representative that I have ever had the displeasure of working with. Ms. Shipps interrupts, chastises, and derides, and lectures crime victims as though she is “Flo” of Progressive commercial fame!

On 11/26/12, when informed that my car had been recovered by California Highway Patrol and impounded, Kristin reminded me of my $500 deductible, which I do not have a this bery moment. After mentioning that I would not have the $500 until next payday, she reviled, “LISTEN! I’M NOT GOING TO WORK AROUND YOUR SCHEDULED! THE CAR CAN STAY IN THE LOT AND YOU CAN TURN IN THE RENTAL CAR NOW!” Intolerable behavior for someone assigned to assist crime *victims.*

Most shocking to this former-Marine? This theft came on the heels of a recent bone fusion surgery recovery, from a car accident which left me in fully bodily pain.



My main concern is that Ms. Shipps has threatened to take my rental car and leave the stolen car in the “pound’; not the least bit interested in the fact that I will not have $500 until next Friday.



Moreover, when my car was stolen, it had a new $4200 engine installed by Miramar Transmission, and have extensive front body work performed by Fix Auto Miramar from damages sustained from an automotive accident in 3/12. By her attitude, I seriously doubt that Ms. Shipps will have any work done on my car although the impounds-man sates that the car has sustained damages.



Ms. Shipps is no ‘”Flo”, and would serve the public better by cleaning engines like a real Grease Monkey!
