Twenty miles in to our bicycle ride to the coast, my buddy and I were relieved to find the Carlton Bakery open for business. The treats were nothing but 1st Class, melting in your mouth in flakey goodness. Good, locally roasted coffee complimented our stay as we waited out the early Summer shower before continuing to Pacific City.
A jewel of a bakery, I'll make a special effort any day to hit this fine establishment again!
