My wife and I went to Allegro about 5 times. They do have the best pizza!! Great ambience too.

to make a reservation for my extended family who are all arriving for the weekend to attend our daughter's wedding in Carmel on Saturday. This is a great casual restaurant with a wonderfully creative menu and excellent food. I have trouble reconciling the prior reviews and just had to take the time to write this in fairness to this restaurant. We have dined there 3 times on visits to Carmel and think enough of it to bring my travel-weary family there for a diverse menu, fresh food and relaxing, unpretentious atmosphere. The staff have always been courteous and friendly and we love how we are never rushed through our meal. We are very much looking forward to our next visit to Allegro's.
