I'm a cashier at this McDonald's, and I'm lovin' it! With modern kiosks, friendly servers, and a crew of chefs, there's a lot on offer from Carmel McDonald's. Every McDonald's has some item it discounts, and at Carmel that item is soda: Every size is $1.

If you're an employee, benefits are great! You earn minimum wage, but you get a free meal every shift you work. Staff is also tolerant of new workers, and won't begrudge you for making a mistake while you're still learning.

That said, during stressful times there can be a remarkable drop in service. Just the other night, during a storm, I offended a customer by addressing her as "¡Mujer!", the equivalent of saying "Woman!" in English. Obviously, she did not like this address--and nor would I if I were her--and further, she spoke Portuguese, not Spanish! She pointed out I had racially profiled her, for I only judged her to speak Spanish because of her complexion. This was a mistake, and I own up to it.

But my mistake does not reflect the values of McDonald's. 9 times out of 10, you will have a good time in Carmel, and slip-ups are not the norm. Come in and I promise you, we will do our best to please you!
