Lisa Suhonos was hired to conduct a neutral vocational evaluation pursuant to a court order. We worked well together, and I believed I could trust her - up until she was on the verge of issuing a report that would have been favorable to me and would have wiped out my husband's position on my professional prospects. Then she disappeared. Five months later, I learned she'd shared this information with my husband's attorney, and, at his request, terminated the evaluation before it was complete - without the court's permission, and without consulting my attorney or me. A few months after that, I learned she'd actually issued a 26-page report, which she'd sent ONLY to my husband's attorney. The two of them hid this report from me for SEVEN MONTHS, until I forced the attorney's hand and he had my husband give me a copy -- just two weeks before trial. Why would she forfeit her professional reputation for neutrality like that? No idea. But I do know that, whatever her skills, I would not recommend placing any trust in her as a neutral expert.
