These are some of the rudest customer service representatives I have ever encountered. Even if there is no line, they seem to act as if they are thoroughly annoyed that you are interrupting their day with your postal business. Not once, in the 9 + years have I been living in the Carpinteria, CA area have I gone in and been greeted by a happy face. I have witnessed this behavior with other patrons as well as having talked about my experience with other friends who live in the area, we all concede that this is a batch of disgruntled employees who hate their job. It's sad, but true... having to deal with the Carpinteria post office has always been a bad experience for me. They are rude, annoyed and down right snarky to people.
