My shopping experience at Fedora was absolutely horrible. I waited a whole year to return to the store because my prior experience was so nauseating that I honestly thought I would never return. One year ago, I found myself shaking in the dressing room because I couldn't believe the conversation I was hearing go on between a customer and the employee. I was hyping myself up to say something but simply walked out in complete shock because of how terrible the customer service was. The employee accidentally over charged a customer and refused to give the customer their money back and instead would only give her store credit. Before that whole conversation took place, I was never greeted while in the store, never asked if I needed a dressing room (while I walked the store with items in my hand) and never approached while in the fitting room to see if I needed assistance.

I came back to Fedora one year later in May, 2015. I was never greeted when I came in. The sales associated was on the telephone the entire time I was in the store. She was chatting to another sales associate working at another Fedora... I could tell because of her loud conversation that consisted of bashing other sales associates and complaining about her job. She also spoke about her personal life and complained on and on... it was agonizing. Again, she NEVER acknowledged me. By the time I made my way to the fitting room, I had 5 pieces in my hand and was never asked if I wanted a room. There were now 6 customers in the store (including myself) and not ONE person was greeted. The employee stayed on the phone the entire time.

Again, back in the dressing room and shaking because I wanted the courage to say something. I tried all 5 items on and she never checked on me. I now knew I would never support this store nor purchase anything. I left the fitting room, the employee finally got off the phone because a customer approached the counter to ask a question. As I walked out the door, the sales girl said "thank you, have a nice day," and I turned around and said "you haven't greeted one person in this store. You've been on your phone the entire time this was the worst customer service I have ever experienced and I honestly cannot believe you have a job here."

After that ordeal, I didn't change my mind about how horrible this store is but I did feel bad for putting the girl on blast. Since I do shop weekly, I told the story to a few other local boutique girls in Raleigh. The feeling between them all was unanimous... everyone agreed Fedora has the bottom of the pit customer service. I heard from reliable contacts that the owner was unethical and unfair to her employees. I've heard stories of not being able to have a lunch break and even not being paid for over time hours that were worked. I have also been told that the owner buys items over ebay and illegally sells them in the Fedora boutique.

Do not support this disaster of a boutique.

I actually videotaped my entire experience to prove to the owner that their customer service is a real problem. I was told that the owner would probably care less. I think I'll keep the video, anyways.

I will never shop here again. I hope you choose the same.
