Outside versaillescuban.com/ ( in Culver City CA -- LA ), this place is the best !! If you love Cuban food and you are ( like me ) stuck here in the Dallas Metroplex -- it doesn't get any better then this. Waste no time and get down there for some great eats !!

They are a little pricier than...

They are a little pricier than expected. Their empanadas are delicious however their main courses were not very good. I had the shredded beef with lime that was very dry and tough to chew. After 2 bites I could not eat anymore. My husbands pork chop was dry as well. I will not be returning.

Best Cuban food in the DFW area! Finally, the Dallas area has a local authentic Cuban eatery that

people can flock to and not be inundated with mixtures of Puerto Rican, Spanish, and Mexican mixtures on the menus. This new Cuban entry to the Dallas dining scene is a wonderful new find, with fantastic entrees and even a dessert menu that includes flan prepared the right way - a definite "to not miss"! Caribbean Cafe is even open on Sundays and draws a nice after-church crowd. But you rarely have to wait, and if you do, it's not for very long. It's somewhat small, but the decor is nice, decked-out in Cuban photos and decorations. Children have a good selection from their own menu items. Cuban sandwiches are good, and quite filling, even though I probably give the International Bakery in Carrollton the nod on those.C.C. has a full bar, and friendly bilingual service. If you're looking for excellent Cuban cuisine in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, this is the one, and is quite suitable for the special occasion as well. Dress code is casual (shoes/shirts required).

Notably good service experience

Everyone at the table found the food interesting and good. It's small now but it will grow.
