Caroldale Learning Community, opened in 1960, is a part of the Los Angeles Unified School District. The school enrolls students in kindergarten through grade eight. It provides technical and special education and gifted and talented programs. In addition, it provides Title I programs to students. Caroldale Learning Community s academic curriculum includes several subjects, such as math, science, language arts, English, social studies and physical education. The Los Angeles Unified School District operates more than 100 elementary, middle and high schools. The school district also includes Franklin Elementary School, Lockwood Elementary School and South Gate Middle School. Caroldale Learning Community is located in Carson, Calif.
