I have been a member of this church for over 30 years and I would not have been a member of this church for all these years, if it wasn't a group of sincere Christians living their lives according to the truths in God's word and laboring to prove and continue in what God's will is according to the scriptures as in Acts 17:11 & Romans 12:2. The church does not condone sin, but rather strives to follow God's will according to the scriptures as in 1 Peter 1:15-16 "But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy". Jesus cannot be blamed for things that some of his followers have done during the last 2000 years; and the Church at Carson City should not be blamed for things that a few of its past members have done in the past that Jesus and the church have not and do not condone.

Its sad that there are people who through Bitterness have spoken hate filled lies about people in the church. Someone who doesn't know the truth concerning the slanderous things some people despitefully say about the church, would ask: if these things are not true, why would someone accuse people of these things? Jesus gave the answer in the Bible and part of it was recorded in Matthew 5:11 ( Jesus spoke) "Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you and shall say "All" manner of Evil against you Falsely ( Gr. lying) for my sake"! In light of that, Jesus foretold that people would persecute and speak lies against his followers. A person might ask, what would cause people to speak evil and false statements against a group of Christian professing people if it was not true? The answer is found written in the bible in the following verses: Genesis 4:8 and 1 John 3:12. There it reveals that Cain rose up and slew his brother Abel because the things Cain was doing were wrong and the things Abel did were right before God. The same truth and answer is in the following question, why were Jesus, John the Baptist, Jesus's disciple's and followers of Jesus persecuted and killed ? Jesus spoke recorded in St Johns 15:20 "If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you". Also in 2 Timothy 3:1-13 it is revealed: (condensed) "In the last days perilous times shall come.... that men shall be False Accusers, Despisers of those that are good", etc. vs 12 "ALL that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution" Those who have been persecuting and speaking slanderous things against followers of Jesus will have to give account, for Jesus spoke recorded in Matthew 12:36-37 "But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgement, for by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned". I pray for these that are persecuting the church; for Jesus spoke, recorded in Matthew 5:44 "Pray for them which despitefully use you and persecute you".

I have attended the church at carson city for 25 years. I have always felt nothing but love from the people there. The people there study the scriptures and live by the Bible, it is a true bible-following group of believers. They search out the scriptures in order to learn how to live for God. Everybody here has always treated me fairly and honestly, the people there are a honest, loving and caring bunch who just try to live by what the Bible says.

Terrifying mental abuse. These cult leaders have broken so many families and caused a lot of harm to individuals. This is a cult.
