Provided by YP.comHave been riding M/C's for 50 years. have had occasion to visit many HD shops across the US and have usually been impressed with customer service. Not so with Carson HD. Limp-wristed, inept, unprofessional. Sorry excuse for customer service. They'll gladly sell you a bike but don't expect anything after the fact, parts, service, etc. Can't work the telephone or take messages either.

Provided by YP.comWe are older bikers (not involved with any clubs) and decided to purchase a 2000 FLSTS from Harley of Carson City Nv,. The bike -- can't ask for a better operating machine and clean. Follow me on this:
At first the bike was represented as a 2004 -- Original price: 13,999 then we found out the bike was a 2000 (of course they denied this misrepresentation) Sale price: 10,999 OUR price after 2,000 down $8,999 (that is what a 2000 is worth) then add the tax, all the dealer "fees" etc around $11,000. We financed through Harley Credit we thought at 9.5%) We were told our "interest rate" would be around 3-4% -- as we thought our credit was excellent -- however, our credit turned out just below 700 -- we were "told" our interest would be 9.5 -- okay we accepted that. Contract signed knew what our payments would be; contract faxed to Harley Credit, folded and put in an envelope -- off we rode. Working on taxes I found: The interest "told" was not 9.5 but 16.99%. Speaking to Harley Credit advised "the dealership not them" make the decision of interest rates; submit for financing. Spoke to to Motor Carrier told us to "talk to the dealership" they would have a copy of the contract and we would all sit down and discuss this mis-understanding or so we thought.,
Off we went to the dealership (personally I would have preferred a den of rattlesnakes --at least the snakes are honest in their ways) we sat down with the General Manager and the sales person who sold us the bike (again nothing wrong with the bike) we were immediately attacked, put down and the general manager told us he had "great" credit (750) personally "who cares" and we were below average (just below 700 which is still above average) and that is why the 16.99. According to Harley Credit we would have qualified for 6% but only the dealer can rewrite a contract.
The "top sales person" left running around like a caraval monkey with its tale cut off asking co-workers "do you remember those people -- asking someone to "back" his story.: I asked the general manager "why he is so combative?" I just wanted to understand how and why we were told one thing and behind our backs put in a different interest rate -- without even telling us!
He started raising his voice at me how "they gave us a huge break!" He stated the bike's cost was $13,999 they dropped the price to $11,999 to "help" us out and our credit -- 689 -- was inadequate for a decent percentage.
Have to continue separate -- have to give them a "star" otherwise won't print, read following
