Carson Middle School provides a range of academic and enrichment activities for more than 1,160 students in grades six through eight. The school offers classes in math, science, English and social studies. It also conducts sessions in music, art and physical education. Carson Middle School provides several types of sports activities, such as wrestling, basketball, volleyball, cross-country, and track and field. In addition, the school operates a parent-teacher association. It features a library, guidance office and lunch room. Carson Middle School operates a band and choir and offers special education and English as a Second Language programs. The school is governed by the Carson City School District, which manages several elementary, middle and high schools.
