The pharmacy just showed me that this office was faxed 7 times in the last 11 days in order to get my son's prescription preauthorized! We called three times at least! This is unacceptable! Office staff denies receiving the faxes but I was shown they were sent. Finally.. we were told that they received the fax and need to wait up to a week to receive it now because it was just sent into my insurance! If you dont mind waiting two to three weeks for your medication this is a great place for you to go. That Being said we followed Ben Kadas over here. My son and I like him a lot but after this experience we are thinking of going else where.
Update: Office staff said they sent my sons prescription into his insurance on Tuesday. Called his insurance on Friday and they stated that they had not received anything from this office! Asked the insurance to fax the office due to incompetence. Called the office and was assured that it was sent in on Tuesday for preauthorizion. Informed the office that it was not. Asked the office to have Ben Kadas call me personally. I never received a call from him. Received a message from one of the ignorant receptionists stating that "It was currently being worked on." My son has been out of medication going on three weeks now! Adderral should not be stopped cold turkey! He has had horrible withdrawals. He has Autism. His teacher's and school nurse are all horrified and questioning the competence and professionalism of this office.
