The ordering process was not at all smooth. ( I assume that I was speaking with the owner.) He did not know of the arrangement I was trying order, even though it was at the top of his own website. When I asked if he could text me a photo of the arrangement prior to sending it out he stated that he did not own a smart phone. (Rather odd for a business in 2015). Despite misgivings, I went ahead and placed the order.

On the day that the arrangement was to be sent, I telephoned the recipient at three in the afternoon. She made no mention of it, so I knew she had not received it. I called the florist and spoke with the same person, his response to my query was, “Is today Saturday?” I asked if he were going to send it or not. He stated that he would.

The recipient texted me a photo of the arrangement. It looked very thrown together and last minute. Later she told me that the carnations were dying after two days and that the arrangement smelled of cigarette smoke when received.

I have since learned that there are several excellent florists in Cartersville. I only wish that I had used one.
