Wow! I couldn't be happier with Lewis and Scott at LRS Surveying. A lot of professionals tend to use their superior subject matter expertise as a shield to hide behind. By staying mysterious and removed, these "pros" seek to avoid close customer interaction and crank out a cookie cutter product. Fortunately for us, Lewis was fully engaged and responsive from the time we first contacted him until the final product was delivered. He discussed our desires, made recommendations, and then modified the survey to suit our evolving requirements. He personalized our survey on the fly to include fence boundary markers and flood zone locations. He patiently explained every step of the process, showed up on time, stayed late, responded to all emails and phone calls in a timely manner, and was priced competitively. if you want to deal indirectly with your surveyor through a front office sheduler or secretary, then choose one of the big boys (and hope they return your phone calls and can schedule at your convenience versus theirs.) If you want to deal directly with a real pro who will give you personalized attention and remove the mystery of plats, courthouse recordings, ROW's, easements, flood zones, and other survey issues, then you simply can't beat LRS Surveying. They're also Veterans!

My experience with LRS Surveying was great. Lewis was very thorough and marked my land. He was very detailed with his explanations. I will continue to recommend their services to my friends and family.

Skeptical of Kudzu ratings due to being burned by a HVAC contractor who was alleged to write his own, I carefully read the ratings for LRS Surveying. They had the genuine feel of appreciative people writing from their hearts. So, I gave them a call. The quote I received was very competitive; and, they included a veteran’s discount of 5% for my service in the Marines.



When I needed their services a little sooner than expected, they responded quickly. They completed the survey in a short time and did a thorough job, doing detailed research before arriving and discovering that my lot lines were quite different than either the plat or the builder left us to believe. The result is a beautiful privacy fence that we are certain lies totally on our own property.

These guys did a great job they came out got the job done and were super friendly. I was happy with the product and the price was very affordable. If i had anything else I needed to have surveyed I would use them again.
