I was so very disappointed with the last business my family had with Sims. My mother had went in an purchased one of their used "repaired" washing machines for $275. Got it home and not only was it filthy, but it was completely broken. Far worse than the one she gave them. At least her old washing machine was clean and had 2 working cycles. They literally picked that machine up out of someone's oily trash pile and sold it to my mom without bothering to fix it, clean it or even look at it
at all. They delivered the hunk of junk and came to pick it up and brought us a another machine - exact same situation, broken less dirty machine that we had to load up and return for the 3rd machine which my mom ended up keeping bc it at least attempted to go through all the cycles but it doesn't clean the clothes and is on its last leg. Again, hasn't been cleaned what so ever. So I got to clean the thing down. Took me hours & many cleaning supplies to get it in decent shape. So... 2 completely broken & filthy washers & 1 dirty but almost usable machine cost $275 cash + a working washer + our miles, gas & labor + headache, sore back & endless frustration that ended with washed dirty clothes. I think Sims got the better end of that deal. Pick up a washer from someone's home and sell it to someone else as refurbished for $275 without doing a thing. Such an utter disappointment coming from a business I've grown up with.
