Provided by YP.comA decade ago my late wife and I celebrated the renewal of our vows on out 45 anniversary. The Sadlers went all-out for us and our vows were exchanged overlooking the lake, while wildlife strolled in and out of view as if on cue. My wife died of cancer only two years later, and I was so glad she had such a beautiful and romantic memory to take with her. Thank you so much for being such great and gracious hosts.

Provided by YP.comIn absolutely the most beautiful, natural, idyllic setting the Sandhills area [the charming "Sandhills" area, midway between mountains and coast, is the home of Pinehurst--the setting of the historic 1999 and 2005 US Opens--and many other world-renowned golfing destinations] has to offer, "The Heritage" campground is nestled on 160 of the most beautiful, pristine acres in the Sandhills area of North Carolina. It is a small, 50 site (many pull-through, full hook-up, all fully wooded; very secluded & private), family friendly, family built, owned and run campground the owner/managers' parents (the Sadler family) built in the Seventies. You almost can't describe--you really just have to be there to know what a charming vibe you get from the place. The land is absolutely unspoiled and very "Walden Pond"-esque... ...You almost expect to bump into Henry David Thoreau just around the bend of the trail you're meandering down! It is THE IDEAL PLACE for RV'ers who also enjoy golfing (or golfers who also love RV'ing!) When visiting, we recommend you always take time to be down on the [natural!!!] white sand beach by the spring-fed [13-14?] acre lake around sunset. The sounds of nature really start to serenade you and your loved ones about that time of day. You'll think you're in heaven. Springtime and Autumn at "The Heritage" can not be beat, although you can get some really killer deals on golfing tee times in the "off-season":)! When we retire, we really look forward to spending quite a good bit of time enjoying the good life at "The Heritage" ... Thank you very much to the Sadler family for all the great memories and Southern hospitality and charm through the years. Best wishes.
