Loud neighbors you report to management they do nothing about it. Ants and spiders infest the properties. Carpets are disgusting despite them requiring renters to pay for carpet cleaning after they move out. Poor insulation very drafty in the winter. Heaters are very out of date don't know how safe they really are... asked for repair on fridge and never was repaired. They don't reimburse you if you make slight improvements to your apartment or garage. Snow removal they say is included does not come through after every big storm so you are own most of the time. If you want a fence you have to pay over $1000 to have it installed, again no reimbursement for it.

DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE!!! All military be careful when you look to sign with dc properties. They are all kind and willing to work with you up till you have signed your name on the dotted lines. After you have signed up to lease for 12 months they will hound you about everything. The walls are very thing, carpets very dirty, out dated and electricity is higher then what they tell you. Reading the other reviews from previous tenants rings so true with my wife and I. They are very deceitful and very rude especially the legal department. Notices and fliers on the doors when soliciting should not be allowed.

I used to live at Willow Landing in Lowville, NY and I was recommending this to a friend when I saw the 2 reviews provided back in 2012 when I used to live there. Although these reviews were posted under Emjay Way in Carthage, I knew who these "beautiful" reviews came from. I used to live 2 houses down from this girl and her husband. All I can say is that her review and her mothers are incorrect as far as what I saw when I lived there. She was a consistant rule breaker and always was complaining about everything. Her dogs were horrible and she always refused to pick up her dog poop. I can say this, me and my family lived at Willow Landing for 2 years. Management and the leasing staff were always helpful and went above and beyond for us and my neighbors. Maintenance was always on site and very helpful to us. Although at times maintenance was busy, tagging my door I thought was a line of communication that I appreciated. I give Willow Landing/DC Properties 5 stars because I have lived many other communities throughout the U.S. and I can say that DC Properties knows how to take care of their tenants. Their Military Clause is one of the BEST I've seen and includes all types of orders. You can't go wrong with that!! FOLLOW THE RULES PEOPLE. READ YOUR LEASE. And to the 2 that wrote the review..... I bet you are some where right now complaining and doing the same thing to your new landlords. AND LEARN HOW TO SPELL and WRITE PROPER GRAMMAR!!!! Unintelligent responses like yours make people who read them realize it's YOU and not the business. To all that are renting near Fort Drum.... Check out DC Properties. I am now in Texas and wish I could go back and enjoy the North Country again.
