the extra step

Recently I found a lump and went to my pcp. She sent me for a mammogram and ultrasound. The radiologists report said negative/benign results. I went back to my pcp and she referred me to Dr. Hamad. She did a biopsy of the lump and it came back abnormal and pre-cancerous cells were seen. The radiologist wanted me to follow up in 1 year..if I had waited I could have developed cancer. Dr. Hamad and her staff have been wonderful and have given her card to several of my friends.

double bills- will charge you and ins. too many procedures

This doc performs way too many unnecessary procedures. Will bill you and ins. co and will not reimburse you unless you catch it. I spoke to several patients who all were charges thousands of overcharges, and most pay. I went for a second opinion and they all said that my 10 yr old pea size lump was nothing and this doc is just making money on her patients. If the same is happening to you, please go for second opinion. Dr was nice but money hungry.
