Dr. Wasson completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at UNC Dental School in 2006. Following dental school, Dr. Wasson moved to Tucson, Arizona to work with the Indian Health Services program providing all aspects of dental care to children and adults in the Native American community for six years. Dr. Wasson served as Executive Committee Member of the National Oral Health Council from 2010-2012. During this appointment she also conducted clinical research for the Early Childhood Caries Initiative at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. She served as faculty at the Lutheran Medical Department of Dental Medicine AEGD residency program from 2011-2013. Dr. Wasson truly enjoys taking care of children and giving her patients the best dental care possible. In her spare time, she enjoys travel, dining, crafts, and spending time with her family and friends.
