Provided by YP.comMy first visit and I'm not impressed. It was 12:40 - post lunch rush, but there was a steady line, not overwhelming, but steady.
The cashier didn't seem to be able to handle anything except that one job. As I stood there (almost 10 min waiting for my to - go order) , she would forget things. Once she forgot to give dine-in customer's their # to put on their table for orders. The customer even came up and asked "was I suppose to have a # for my order"? The cashier just mumbled, "uhh - probably, I don't remember". So the customer asked if they would just yell out her order and the cashier responded "probably", but never actually looked at or acknowledged the customer to see who it was.
It was the meat carver gentleman who noticed that I had been standing there quite a while and asked what I was waiting on, walked over and my food had just been sitting there - done, but unattended. Apparently the Cashier was suppose to be grabbing the to go orders and bagging them. Yeah, that wasn't happening that I saw.
The food:
Roasted chicken = fantastic!!!!!!
Gyro meat = very good
Falafel = very good
Tzatziki = strangely grainy and lacking in taste (no I'm not spoiled, but I would say Greek Fiesta's is better).
Dolmades (stuffed grape leaves) = fair (had better pretty much everywhere I've tried them).
Sprinach Pie = good.
Overall, the food was half / half, but with that and the service. Greek Fiesta is just around the corner and I've been in there when they've had a line out the door at lunch and everything ran smooth and the food is always consistenly good. They just don't have all the options of yumminess (mmmmm spinach pie).
I can't complain too much because I got a fabulous deal on Groupon Now to try them.
I might try Jasmine again just to give them another try and see if my husband thinks the same thing.
But I won't be going out of my way to do it.

Provided by YP.comMy family LOVES Jasmin! I have some very picky eaters but everyone is always satisfied when going here. My sister-in-law is from NY so she says it's more on the Middle Eastern rather than Greek side, but I don't care, it's AWESOME. I usually get something with their roasted chicken (zaki or panini) but I've tried their gyros and they are delicious as well. The service is also really great and they accomodate us well (again, we have some picky eaters). It's moderately priced, my family (4) costs about $25 - $30 depending on whether we try new entrees or decide to indulge a little with something extra, but meals for all of us at Arby's or Chick-fil-a usually runs about the same and this is WAY better.
