Provided by YP.comLived at SearStone for 3 years. Wonderful place, beautiful, and very expensive. Monthly increases are higher than comparable places in the area. However, they do have debt to pay off. The meals seemed to be a contention with most residents (I was happy), the service was good, maintenance was wonderful, grounds beautiful, and lots of smiling faces and activities.
Prior to my move-out, following the rules and with constant communication plus two notifications in-person, SearStone forgot to adjust my move-out date on paperwork to late February. New residents signed papers for my SearStone apartment and moved in a timely manner.
Even though five months later, I have not received a Settlement Summary of all the deductions showing the removed monies from my deposit. The settlement check was not correct. I was charged extra two weeks for March plus two days in February (best estimate $1792.98) even though new people lived in my old apartment and I lived in Texas.
Very disappointed that I was charged for time which I was living in Texas and all my SearStone bills were paid in full. Without the Summary other unusual deductions may have been removed from the settlement check. They aren't as friendly nor as honest as they would like us to believe.
SearStone is run like a well oiled business machine. This could be good or bad. You make the call.
