Where do I begin?!? TAD has been AMAZING! We moved from another studio, which was lovely in it‘s own right, but wanted a more ballet focused experience. My daughter has grown leaps and bounds in all components of ballet, and has been given so many opportunities based upon her skill versus limited by her age. Truly been a game changer. And the sense of community, respect, and spirit of encouraging others has been outstanding!

Triangle Academy of Dance is truly the most amazing dance studio in wake county! We have been to several and checked out a lot more before deciding on this studio. We have joined TAD since the summer 2018! We truly wish this was the dance studio of choice we have went to all along! Our daughter has been dancing since she was 2.5 years old. She has grown so much and her skills in ballet alone have improved so much since joining. Ms Annette the owner of TAD has truly made us feel at home here. She always has a warm smile and makes sure to meet and greet all her students by name and taking time to say hello to parents. The entire staff has outstanding backgrounds in dance. Each year they put on the full production of the Nutcracker through CYB...along with a lovely spring ballet. The Carolina youth ballet through triangle academy of dance is truly phenomenal! My daughter auditioned this year for the nutcracker and truly enjoyed every minute! I highly recommend this studio especially since we have also been to two other studios and so far we have not seen or been to a studio that has this quality of training! My daughter has a strong passion of dance and has worked hard every year. To hear her say she only would get 20 min of ballet in other studios and not enough ballet training, we knew it was time to look into a studio that focuses on ballet which is the foundation of dance. TAD also does have an opportunity to compete and audition for the Jazz team. Even though they do compete with jazz their main focus is ballet training and technique. I love how they have uniforms for each ballet level and a strict dress code. It’s a very secured building as well for the protection of the dancers and staff. There is such a positive and accepting community of parents and dancers. I can’t say enough about Triangle Academy of dance and the Carolina youth ballet! I highly recommend this studio! We look forward to many more years to come watching our daughter grow as a dancer there!

If you're looking for a studio that offers a variety of Dance genres, you need NOT look any further. Their classical ballet are taught by masters in their craft, who are trained from the Royal Ballet, Boston Ballet and principal dancers from our very own Carolina Ballet. They offer jazz, with an option to audition for one of the 4 teams. They do compete in a few competitions, but not in the same caliber as "competition" studios. They also offer tap, hip hop, contemporary, just to name a few, and dance magic for the little ones. Try a class or better yet, watch one of their performances. They do have their own Nutcracker every year. The older advanced girls are well trained, strong and great performers. Some of their girls have gone on to Kirov in Washington DC, San Francisco Ballet and on to summer intensives such as Washington ballet, Carolina Ballet, ABT, Kirov, San Francisco, SAB, The Rock School-Philadelphia and Boston. This school is definitely worth checking out...we did and we decided to switch and stay.

Excellent facility that teaches several areas of dance for both girls and boys. TAD has wonderful faculty that really care about your child's growth. The studios are spacious and comfortable and their boutique is well-equipped with all you could need as a dancer. Fellow moms have become friends and it is really like a big family. My daughter has danced at TAD for 9 and a half years and would not consider being anywhere else. Our family is most grateful to TAD for her dance education thus far.

My children have attended classes since the ages of 3 and 6 years of age. We started at Ruth Page school of dance in Chicago and I was looking for a similar oar dance experience for my children. What I received was that and more! Professional, courteous, and kind; the dance instructors understand how to speak to and motivate children to be their best selves. The discipline and care that is demonstrated to the students has encouraged me to recommend this wonderful dance school, and separately the Carolina Youth Ballet experience to many people! My daughters work hard here and feel rewarded by their experience. This is a lifelong lesson that will serve them well in any field! Recently, I had the pleasure of attending and having my older daughter involved with their production of Cinderella! It was excellent! I thoroughly enjoyed it! If you are on the fence about where to send your children for dance, please don't hesitate. This is the right place!

A place where they bring the best out of children in all ways as dancers and people. Given wonderful dance instruction and have the opportunity to perform at the highest level multiple times per year!

Being new to the area, we were searching for a dance studio for our 16 year old daughter who has taken ballet for 9 years. She tried 4 different studios in the Triangle before discovering TAD. Professional, nurturing and very competent staff. Friendly and well mannered students, happy and dedicated parents. Having just finished our first Nutcracker performance with them, I must say, we are very proud to be apart of the Carolina Youth Ballet and TAD family!

This is an amazing dance studio, offering great training in a fun and loving atmosphere! Great professional staff, wonderful organized performances and fabulous large studios. They offer all dance styles; ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary dance and classes for all age groups!
