SSSLLLLLOOOOWWWWW...............And I mean slow.....it was like time stood still...Nobody there so it wasn't like a line of people....appointment was at 6:15. arrived at 6:05. Sat until 6:45, WITH NO ONE WAITING AHEAD OF US....Almost as if they could care less....then it took forever to get the results. A 45 min test that was only 20 min so about 2 hrs wasted....Don't go here if you NEED an MRI.

Forget Thumb MRI if you are the least bit claustrophobic. Their web pages claims to have a "open MRI" that is, open at both ends... that is not an open MRI!!! I completed numerous pages of forms at both my Marlette Hospital Drs. office and at Thumb MRI... how many times can I circle and underline CLAUSTRIPHOBIC before trained MRI medical staff registers a the patient may have a problem? They all gave me the "deer in headlights stare" when I politely explained to them I had a embarrassing problem.... I can't breathe, think or function and PANIC in tight spaces. I'm headed for St Johns or Henry Ford Hospital to get decent health care.... the Thumb has failed me again.
