We had a group of 20 stay at the resort to have a Memorial Service for my father who passed away and he and his friends and family have always stayed at the roaring river resort for the last 20+ years. This time its new owners. Are whole stay was full of constant accusations and harassment from the owner Lon. The maids were upset because we needed more soap. Lon kept accusing us of having used a hand towel to clean a chili pot which we didn't even have chili. Then we took my parents dog who is 12 and housebroke. He tried to say she barked for 2 hours and popped on walk way, totally untrue she don't bark and won't potty close to house. Questioned who was in each room kid wise, said that we better not tear rooms up. We had a memorial bbq on evening next day the owner said we had been to loud. The day we were leaving he was back with more accusations and as we were packing and loading he called and had a State Trooper come out, he just laughed because he saw us loading. It made are trip stressful and that made us all sad. I will not stay again nor will I recommend it to any one. He has no respect or heart.
