Horrible

If there was a 0 I would opt for that instead. This place has a clear sign that says "Urgent Care", but if you need care urgently, DO NOT GO HERE!!!! They turned my 10 year old daughter away when she was throwing up constantly. They said they couldn't take anymore patients. What an utter disappointment. Aren't they supposed to treat patients up to their closing time? They close at 8pm and we were there before 7pm and they turned my daughter away. Sure they might say they were at capacity, BUT why post "Urgent Care" on the sign if you are going to turn people away. This place should be ashamed of themselves. The physicians should be ashamed that they are authorizing the front desk to turn away patients. Urgent Care facilities who show compassion and who are truly in business to help people accept patients up to closing time. If you are through the door even a minute before closing, they see you unlike this sham of a practice. This practice and its physicians are obviously not interested in giving care to patients who really need it. I called to complain and they said the urgent care is for their patients. THAT IS NOT POSTED ON THEIR SIGN ANYWHERE! If that's the case, they should just have a sign that says family practice and let their patients know that there are after care hours. THEY SHOULDN'T POST A SIGN THAT SAYS URGENT CARE! If they do it should say if you aren't a patient here, get lost because we will turn you away. DO NOT GO HERE. Stay in your car and just drive to Parker. They will take you.

Never again!

I liked this place when I first started with good quality care. But then... I was asked to come in to give feedback for a medication I am on so they could relay my progress, experience, concerns, etc. with the pharmaceutical reps because it is newer on the market. I did what they asked, came in, and discussed all those things about the medication. I went to the front desk after my visit to ask if there was anything else I needed to do/pay/etc. and the reply was "No. Nothing." so I thought all was sorted, until I received a bill for an actual appointment. I have no problem paying for my appointments when they are actually a medical appointment I requested and not just for "How's it going on this medication?" I did not request the appointment but am now being charged for it. It's like being shown the dessert tray, NOT ordering a dessert but having to pay for it at the end of the meal because you looked at the desserts. Ridiculous! I tried explaining the situation to the office manager many times and what did I get in return, no sympathy, no willing to work it out, no compassion, and no apology for their mistake or for not explaining to me to begin with what I was to expect regarding the required appointment but a certified letter (so impersonal and coward) stating that I should find another Dr.s office because they feel there is too much communication breakdown between me and my medical provider. Really? I didn't make the mistake/issue but am not only being charged for it but also being asked to leave. They did all the things wrong regarding this issue but are trying to put the blame on me. Shame they can't step up and take responsibility for their mistake, lack of communication, and making sure the issue was resolved positively with me, their patient, the customer.

Awesome

Thanks Founders Family Medicine for working hard and taking care of my family since 2005! I love that you are open 7 days a week and I can email my doctor!

Keep on driving!!

This Med Center is about as professional and knowledgable as a nursery. I'd rather go to a vet's office than this disaster of Drs. Dr John Campbell sat with me for 10 minutes and then refused to prescribe medication that I have been taking for 20 years. I'm 60 and I am on a strict regiment of meds which he tried to explain to me wasn't what I needed .... after 10 minutes!!! Since some of my meds were essential, I had to scramble to get an apptmt with another DR, who prescribed the meds immediately. The staff at the front desk and the Dr's are rude, obnoxious, and arrogant. Do not waste your time with this place unless you want to feel as though you are an idiot and know nothing about your medical history and body!!!

Helpful

Was sick as a dog. I had no appoitment and came in at 630 on a Monday night and was able to see a doctor. I never go to the doctor. I was in and out and feeling better the next day. I wanted to say thank you for your time and being open when I needed it.

Don't Bother

What a horrible experince. There is nothing urgent at this urgent care. The staff doesn't care about people in pain waiting 90 minutes or more. The good news is that we finally gave up and went to the new hospital in town and they are amazing. Check yelp and you will see how people get treated at this place.

Excellent

My family has seen several MDs at this office. They are very good. It is also a bonus when your PCP has Urgent Care hours. As to the two prior negative reviews: "Pain management" lady was certainly looking for narcs. The doctor who diagnosed her kidney stones would have called in an Rx if this was legit. And yes, ultrasound is absolutely necessary to determine the size of CURRENT stone and rule out other causes or make the decision to see if the CURRENT stone needed to be zapped out. It may have been too big to pass. That lady was drug seeking. And negative complaint #2: The pediatrition wrote an order for another doctor to fill???? Huh? Why didn't the pediatrician splint it? That is not the way the system works. Doctors don't write orders for other doctors to fill. I am a nurse. I don't work for Founders. I'm a patient. They're good.

Walk In

We walked in at 7:15 at night after my son's football game and after we thought he broke his arm..We were brought back and given an x-ray and the pa took her time to speak to my son and myself about his arm. We then were on our way home..They stayed late to help us and never once complained..Thanks Founders Family Medicine....

Well worth it!

Can't say enough good things about this practice! Really appreciative of the time they take and the care that's given. There can be a price to pay for thorough care - sometimes appointments are delayed. But they are well worth it!

When is an appointment not an appointment

While the service is normally good, and it is great they are open seven days a week … be warned. If your “appointment” is for follow up lab work, they will not honor the appointment. You are treated as a walk-in … Sorry when I make an appointment, if I honor the agreed time I expect the office to do the same.

AWFUL

Do Not Go To this office! Dr. Campbell is awful- he is rude, has no compassion! I moved to castle rock and went to this office. I just got back from an appt. and I will NEVER go back! I was happy to see that there are other posts about him. DO Not go to this office- they are all rude- they are suppose to also be an urgent care- Go the xtra 10 minutes to the Sky Ridge- they are the worst practice in Colorado!!!

Rude doctor

I took my wife in on 4/17/09 to get a stronger pain medication after a neck injection procedure. We normally would have seen her doctor or visited Sky Ridge but the bad weather prevented that, so we went here. Dr. Campbell was extremely rude about prescribing the medication and left my wife in tears. After talking with friends, we found out others share the same opinion on Dr. Campbell and his bedside manner. We will never visit here again.

Good practice

I really like this practice. They take time with you and don't make you feel rushed.
