I don't normally see dr Healy, but had an emergency one afternoon and he was filling for dr Stage. My mother is a smoker and happened to be over at my house earlier in the day. Apparently me sitting next to her while she was smoking on my daughters nap (at ten am) made me "wreak of smoke" and "is most likely the reason my daughter acquired an ear infection at her 2:45 appt. After making me feel like a complete failure of a parent he also stated that it is genetics. I had constant ear infections as a child and that leaves me daughter more susceptible to it. He didn't tell me that, I had to GOOGLE that! Keep in mind this is my first child and I am quite young. (23) felt completely harassed and judged.
