Please save yourself your time and go elsewhere. Very unprofessional staff and atmosphere. Rude and disrespectful to most while I was there.

Health is not a priority to the staff, just take one look and ask how healthy do they look!

There are other local locations that WANT your business. Leave this location for Medicare and low HMO plans.

Whomever is in charge please review the reviews on multiple sites. They are not appealing.

There are better alternatives especially now that the Hospital is open and more Doctors have come to town.

I rated this a one because that is the lowest available.

I cannot say enough how hard we tried to like Plum Creek Medical but time and again we were subjected to problems that we simply had to move onto another practice. The sad thing is that we liked the Doctor who cared for our special needs son but we couldn't get past the multiple 20-40 minute wait times in the stifling examination room, the condescending attitude of the office staff when you queried a charge and just the overall feeling that you were a burden to their assumed smooth operation. They obviously feel that their patients are dim witted and all they see are dollar signs on each visit. Thanks Dr. Simon, you were about the only good thing about that place. We're going to miss you.

I am a bit stumped by the negative reviews. My family and I have been going to PCM for about 4 years now and have never had a problem. The gals at the front desk are really friendly. One in particular recognizes me every time and talks to me personably. The doctors and physician's assistants we've seen have been pleasant to visit with when medical needs arrise. In particular, Dr. Simon is such a gentle and caring doctor with the kids! And I just love my PA, Kristyn. She's genuinely empathetic and great to talk to about any medical issues I've experienced. When I lost 40 pounds this last fall to overturn my pre-diabetes diagnosis, she rejoiced with me and told me how proud she was of me. Can't ask for more support than that! Also, we've never had any billing problems either. So I'd give this practice at thumbs up with the experiences we've had!

They failed to verify my insurance before my visit even though I provided it. When I got there they said my insurance company was on the west coast and wouldn't be open for another two hours. So I would have to pay in advance. I tried to use my HSA debit card, which I've used at the gas station to buy band-aids with no problem, but they said they wouldn't accept it without my insurance companies approval. The gas station didn't ask to see my insurance card and it seemed to work for them. They wanted me to pay about $250 up front which I had, but when I asked if it would be refunded when they actually did their job and verified my insurance they said no, I would have to wait 3-4 weeks for the insurance company to process their invoice. I have no idea if the doctors or nursing staff are any good, I didn't have any more time to waste trying to get past their incompetent front desk.

This place is hit and miss.

Why?

Well all our family has used PCM. For me and my son, we have seen 2 doctors who have been extremely professional, knowledgeable and helpful. Dr. Carpenter and Dr. Simon have been great. If you're going to PCM, look them up.

Now for the other side. Dr. England seems to believe he has owners prerogative when he treats his patients (Customers actually Dr. England.) My wife was made to feel she had no idea about what was wrong with her. Then he spent the rest of the time talking about himself and about how my wife needed to tell everyone about how great PCM (and Dr. England) was. He DID NOT solve the problem and completely misdiagnosed the issue. Another practice got it right. (Dr. Dennis Furr)

Front desk makes you feel like you're intruding if you call. Nurses station just about never gets anything done on time like prescription refills and if you call to ask about the status of the refill 3-5 days later, they have a go at you.

Like I said, hit or miss.

I have been a here a few times out of sheer convenience of their location. But bedside manner has been horrible. Never asked any questions about my diet or exercise during a physical and later, when I came in once with the flu, the doctor went on and on with absolutely misfactual information (I looked it up on CDC when I got home) about death rates for non flu shot recipients vs those that got the shot, etc. The last time I called to set an appt (again out of convenience), I was put on hold and had Christian rock screaming in my ear. Blech. Sorry, but I really want to keep my medical practice out of my spiritual practice. Need to find a new place...

It has taken me a while to write this review because I didn't want to write it while I was still so upset. . . . . So now several months later I will tell you this is not the place you want to take your family.

The root of my anger with this came one evening when my 1 and 1/2 year old son had an allergic reaction to a macadamia nut and my husband rushed him in....This was the closest place to our home. The woman at the front who could clearly see this was an emergency as my sons skin was bubbling up and bright red from his cheek to his belly button told my husband "the doctor isn't taking anymore patients today".

AWESOME right?

So my husband had to load my baby back in the car and frantically drive him through town to the urgent care where he was seen and treated immediately. So many things could have gone worse if he hadn't been seen in those next several minutes....How could they be so heartless? He's a baby, he is having a serious reaction? So they turned him away? Horid!

If you have children please please please take them somewhere else, anywhere else. No one should ever go through something as scary as we did. They deserve better!

Plum Creek Medical is a disgrace. That is all.

My 8 year old son and I were in a car accident, rear ended from behind. We went into Plum Creek Medical for medical attention. We were asked for our insurance card and if our car was okay. Then were turned away because, "they hadn't seen anybody for two hours and the doctor was ready to leave." Even though posted closing time was not for another 30 min. The staff said we could go to another Urgent Care or to the ER. Very disappointing!!! We did find care and are okay!! Just saddened by the way we were treated in time of fear and need. What happened to the Hippocratic Oath???
