Provided by YP.comVery inexpensive considering the skills you obtain during a class! Very friendly atmosphere. John is an expert in Krav Maga and it's evident the first time in class. I highly recommend this krav school. It's well worth it

Provided by YP.comI joined Rocky Mountain Self Defense and Fitness May 1, 2013. After some research and overcoming a little intimidation I promised myself I would give Krav Maga an honest attempt. What did I have to lose? I'm retired, have some spare time (Krav is designed for the student to advance quickly without spending endless hours training), I wanted to improve my conditioning and learn a proven self defense method - if not for me, for my family especially my grandchildren.
Now, 6 months later, Krav Maga has become an important part of my life. I love every minute of it, even the tough workouts. I attend 2 to 3 times a week and actually feel guilty if I miss for any reason.
Rocky Mountain owner and head Krav instructor John Hallett has a unique ability to instruct and convey details on the techniques he teaches. He is a "high level" Krav practitioner and excellent instructor. After attending a few of his classes you'll see his passion and love of teaching, no class is ever the same.
I've worked out with kids half my age, students older than me, instructors and advanced students. I can honestly say I have always felt welcomed and supported!
I highly recommend Rocky Mountain to anyone wanting to change their life for the better. Come in for a free class; you have nothing to lose!
Regards,
Mike

Provided by YP.comI am a physical therapist in Castle Rock and have been training in CrossFit and Heavy Bag conditioning workouts here since October 2008. I cannot say enough about how satisfied I am with the quality of instruction. Owner/instructor John Hallet is EXCEPTIONAL at emphasizing safe form and technique while motivating participants to push hard within their limits. As someone who evaluates and treats sports injuries on a daily basis, I am consistently impressed by John’s attention to detail in demonstrating and monitoring form and technique during workouts. Of course, it is always an individual’s responsibility to take care of his or her own body during any physical activity, but I feel 100% confident in referring my patients to train with John. Provided by YP.comI have been training here for only a short time but I thoroughly enjoy every session. The instructor/owner (John Hallett) is great and has a lot of fun in class. I highly recommend it for anyone wanting to learn self defense or for someone trying to get in a little better shape. I have no previous martial arts experience and have no problem with the training techniques. Class times are set up for the working adult and offer a lot of flexibility.
